11. Buildings and resources

The 'one-stop shop' ethos means more and more health workers consulting and more and more in–house services. Practice-based commissioning puts a whole new burden on GP's premises. Few practices will have the luxury of premises that are large enough and flexible enough to meet these demands. This section covers financing, building, extending, fire safety and maintenance of practice premises.
